Calgary Track Council provides a single point of contact for the clubs when dealing with the City of Calgary and other
organizations and to facilitate projects and activities best done with the cooperation of multiple clubs and
organizations.
The council maintains a liaison with school track and field activities and considers school track and field a
key part of the track community. The council provides meet management and infrastructure management needed to
host track meet competitions. The council has been actively working with the City of Calgary to maintain the
Athletic parks so they are ready for completions.
The council also owns and maintains competition equipment used at the track meets.
